WHAT TO EXPECT IN THERAPY

After going through your medical and personal history, we will spend a few sessions getting to know each other and setting goals. I want therapy to be a place where you feel safe, challenged and able to explore whatever comes up for you.  I am able to put together a very directed plan for you or we can leave it more open for a present moment experience.

 

It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix: psychotherapy is a place for healing and growth facilitated by a therapist who listens and is present and supportive.
